Whats wrong with my dog
My dog throws up only every once in a while Whats wrong? My dog just starting throwing up his food but its not all the time just every once in a while.

My dog has been acting weird for the past 2 days she wont eat,walk or even use the bathroom. she shakes often. she stays in the same place unless i move her. she is able to walk tho. she walks as if she is hurt but im unsure of anything happened o her. she sleeps with me and its a possibility i rolled on to her. but i dont know because i am unsure when i first noticed her acting this way. she is 7 years old . my mom suggests that she is just sick because shes getting old but she hasnt vomited or had diarrhea.

The shaking you have observed can be an involuntary response to illness or pain that your dog may be experiencing. It is unlikely that her current difficulties have anything to do with you rolling over on her, so don be concerned with that. When you get home, have someone hold the iv bag while you pull the dogs skin up far enough so that you dont hit a muscle or bone. then put the needle in the skin. (
If you cant pull the skin up away from the muscle then he may be too far gone) and have the person holding the iv , gently squeeze the bag. A ball will raise under his skin, kinda like theres a water balloon under there. If hes a med to lg dog then make the balloon about the size of your fist. Replace the cap on the iv needle and sterilize it before using each time. As long as you keep a ball of water hanging on him , he should be ok. They can do without food but they usually die from dehydration, so keep doing that iv thing before the balloon disappears , do it until he starts eating again,.
