ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Ryan Getzlaf, Bobby Ryan and Corey Perry finally clicked in the same game for the struggling Anaheim Ducks. Getzlaf scored the go-ahead goal late in the third period, Ryan had two goals and Perry added two assists in a 4-2 win over the New York Islanders on Friday night, snapping a three-game losing streak. "We got mad instead of hanging our heads when we fell behind," Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau said. "You cant play without passion in this league. Tonight we had it and it was channelled in the right direction." Getzlaf ended a 12-game scoring drought with just his third goal in his past 30 games. "Terrible," the Ducks captain said, describing the past few weeks. "Its frustrating for me and Im sure a lot of other people in the organization. The hard work is what brings you out of it." Jonas Hiller stopped 19 shots to earn his 99th NHL career victory for the Ducks, who avoided their second four-game losing streak of the season. "Its a starting point," Ryan said. "Hopefully we can string some things together." The Islanders led 2-1 early in the third on a goal by Kyle Okposo only to have the Ducks score the games final three goals and end New Yorks three-game winning streak in a matchup of two teams next-to-last in their respective divisions. Islanders left wing Matt Martin said its hard to believe the Ducks have struggled as much as they have this season. "They were obviously going to get out of it eventually, but unfortunately it was against us," he said. "We did a good job for two periods, frustrating them and kind of letting them sleep. But then we gave them too much time and space (with the puck) in the third period and kind of let them build momentum for themselves." Evgeni Nabokov made 16 saves for the Islanders, leaving him two wins away from 300. Ryan tied the game 2-2 with the second short-handed goal of his career at 9:22 of the third, fighting off two defenders as he closed in on the net. Perry earned his first assist of the game for his 400th NHL point. "Perry did most of the work," Ryan said. "I tried a 1-on-1 move, tried my forehand and generally I miss those. It was a great goal to feel good about yourself." With Anaheims Cam Fowler and New Yorks PA Parenteau serving penalties, Getzlaf scored 4-on-4 with a shot in the top of the net at 12:25 that gave Anaheim a 3-2 lead. Perry picked up his second assist. "We tried to move the puck up the wall there, but Perry stole the puck and Ryan made a good shot," Okposo said. "That short-handed goal gave them some life and gave the crowd some life, and they fed off that. We kind of sat back on our heels a little bit, and you cant do that in this league." Teemu Selanne scored his 12th goal on a rebound in front of the net to make it 4-2 at 17:06. "Bobby and Getz scored big goals. Thats a great sign," he said. "Everything is about confidence, especially with Getzy. He hasnt found the confidence lately. He takes a lot on his shoulders as captain. Lately its been more tougher with the mental side to lose night after night." New York tied the game 1-1 at 16:04 of the second period. Hiller lay on his right side in the net as Martin swooped around from the right side and went for the puck resting on the goal line. Before he could get to it, Hillers glove nudged it across the line. The Ducks led 1-0 on Ryans rebound in front of the crease at 14:18, nine seconds after Anaheims power play ended.
