The Calgary Flames hope to put together a winning streak as they host the Phoenix Coyotes at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Wednesday night. Malik Jackson Jersey . The Flames recently halted a two-game slide with Saturdays road victory over Los Angeles, giving Calgary its third win in six games after suffering through an 0-5-1 drought from Nov. 5-16. Mike Cammalleris backhander with 23 seconds left lifted the Flames to a 2-1 win over the Kings on Saturday. Cammalleri took a pass from Mikael Backlund in front of the net and managed to shovel a backhander past Ben Scrivens as he fell to the ice. Flames rookie goaltender Karri Ramo was able to hold strong the rest of the way to seal the win. Blair Jones also scored and Ramo made 21 saves in the win, which came with many of the fathers of the Flames players in attendance at the Staples Center. "To get the win was special. We wanted to get a big one for them (the fathers) tonight, and against a good team," Cammalleri said. Calgary will try to make it two wins in a row on Wednesday, but the club hasnt been able to string together consecutive victories since beating Montreal and New Jersey on Oct. 9 and 11, respectively. That two-game stretch still stands as the Flames only winning streak of the season. Mark Giordano will be back in the lineup. Giordano has missed the last 18 games since suffering a broken ankle on Oct. 21 in Los Angeles. Despite playing in only eight games in 2013-14, Giordano still ranks third in scoring among Calgary defensemen this season with nine points on two goals and seven assists. Beginning with tonights tilt, the Flames are playing two straight and four of their next five games at home. Calgary is 4-5-3 at the Saddledome this season. Phoenix recorded a 4-2 home win against the Flames on Oct. 22, but Calgary has claimed four of the past six encounters in this series overall and three straight at the Saddledome. Phoenix began a four-game trip in impressive fashion on Tuesday, as the Coyotes slammed the Edmonton Oilers, 6-2, at Rexall Place. Mikkel Boedker and Mike Ribeiro each had one goal and two assists to help Phoenix match its highest goal output of the season. The Coyotes also scored six times in a 6-3 triumph over visiting Tampa Bay on Nov. 16, but then lost three of their next four games before Tuesdays rout in Edmonton. Radim Vrbata, Shane Doan and David Moss each added one goal and an assist for the Coyotes and Keith Yandle also lit the lamp. Mike Smith stopped 31-of-33 shots in the victory after yielding four goals on 35 shots in Saturdays 5-2 home loss to Chicago. "Obviously after the Chicago game, we wanted to make sure we came out and played more to our identity, especially on the road," said Coyotes coach Dave Tippett. "Were starting a tough trip, we wanted to come in and play well tonight. I thought for the most part, we did a lot of good things." Coyotes backup goaltender Thomas Greiss could give Smith a rest tonight by getting the start in the second game on back-to-back nights. Greiss has one career appearance against Calgary, as he took the loss for San Jose in a 4-1 setback on March 6 of last season. Phoenix is 7-5-2 on the road this season and will try to win its third straight as the guest in tonights clash at the Saddledome. The Coyotes will continue this swing with Fridays outing in Vancouver before completing the trip Tuesday in Colorado. Chris Ivory Youth Jersey . Anything less than gold for either nation is considered a disappointment. Yet for Switzerland, advancing to the semifinal might be a victory in itself. Allen Robinson Jaguars Jersey . In the other Group A game, the Czech Republic stunned Canada, 5-4 in a shootout. Dominik Simon scored the deciding goal in the tiebreaker. The United States scored its first three goals on power plays. "Overall, I love to see the power-play goals we were able to get tonight," said U. http://www.authorityjaguarsshop.com/yannick-ngakoue-jaguars-jersey-c-26/ .B. -- Canadas Rachel Homan opened the Ford Womens World Curling Championship with a 7-5 win over Russia on Saturday.BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Pack up the pom-poms in Buffalo, because the Bills will be playing without the support of their official cheerleaders this year. Stephanie Mateczun, whose company manages the Buffalo Jills cheerleading squad, said Thursday she has suspended operations through at least the end of the season. The decision was made two days after five former Jills filed a lawsuit complaining they worked hundreds of hours for free, and were subjected to groping and sexual comments. The civil action was filed in state Supreme Court and seeks unspecified back pay and legal fees. It names Mateczuns company, Stejon Productions Corp., the Bills, and the Jills former manager, Citadel Communications Co., as defendants. Stejon took over managing the cheerleaders in 2011. Mateczun is in the process of hiring legal representation, and declined further comment. The Bills have been made aware of the Jills decision to suspend operations, but otherwise declined comment. Lawyer Frank Dolce, who represents the five cheerleaders, said the decision to suspend operations wont affect his case because it addresses past complaints. Dolce, however, did question Mateczuns motives, saying her decision to suspend the squad was unnecessary. "If they cease operations, they will blame the lawsuit for the destruction of the Jills, when that was not intended at all," Dolce said, noting there is not much money at stake in the lawsuit. "We love the Bills. We love the Jills," he said. "We do not love the travesty of its management that has occurred over the last few years." According to the Buffalo Jills Alumni website, the squad was formed inn 1967, eight years after the Bills were established as founding members of the American Football League. Marqise Lee Womens Jersey. In 1986, the Bills relinquished managing the cheerleaders to private companies. Cheerleaders have launched similar suits against the Oakland Raiders and Cincinnati Bengals. The case against the Bills claims the Jills are wrongly classified as independent contractors and subjected to policies that violate the states $8 per hour minimum wage law and other workplace rules. The Jills arent paid for games or practices and have to make 20-35 appearances, most of which are unpaid, at community and charity events each season, the lawsuit said. On top of that, they have to pay $650 for their uniforms and are not reimbursed for travel or other expenses, the cheerleaders said. All five cheerleaders said they had to take a "jiggle test" so that Mateczun, Stejons president, could assess their physiques. And Mateczun, they said, controlled everything from their hair and nail polish colour to what they could post on Facebook. The time and expense, as well as rules governing their personal lives, far exceeded what they signed on for, the women said. Dolce and his clients hope their legal action leads to policy changes within the Bills organization that ensure future cheerleaders are paid and treated better. "A decision to disband the Jills as an entity is a tremendous mistake for community spirit," Dolce said. "We do not feel bad that Stejon Productions has ceased operations. We think thats a good thing. We just hope the Bills dont trivialize the Jills because of the poor management of them."
