Manchester United dictated play at

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S. Felix Passlack Dortmund Shirts .C. -- K.J. Chois early tee time and quick start moved him to the top of the rain-delayed RBC Heritage on Friday. Choi shot a 67 to get to 5-under 137, one stroke ahead of Robert Allenby and two in front of a group led by former world No. 1 Luke Donald as the second round was suspended because of heavy storms. Allenby was among 65 players still on the course when the rain hit Harbour Town Golf Links. Officials delayed the round shortly before 3 p.m. and then sent everyone home until Saturday morning after waiting through about 90 minutes of steady, heavy rain. Allenby has 13 ........... to finish when play resumes Saturday morning. Donald shot a 69 and joined Billy Hurley III (69) and first-round tri-leader Scott Langley (73) in the clubhouse two shots behind Choi. Bo Van Pelt and Ben Martin were also at 3 under early in their rounds. Masters contenders Matt Kuchar and 20-year-old Jordan Spieth faltered after their strong starts at Harbour Town. Kuchar, who tied for fifth last week at the years first major, had a pair of double bogeys on his first six ........... before the rains came and stood four shots behind Choi. Spieth, a Masters rookie who tied for second at Augusta National, had a 74 and was at 1-over 143 -- good enough to make the projected cut of 4 over, but well off his opening 69. Choi was four shots back of first-round leaders Kuchar, Langley and William McGirt at the beginning of the day. Based on his recent play, he didnt figure to make much of a dent in the cool, drizzly conditions. But Choi had three birdies on the front nine, including one on the difficult, par-4 eighth ....................., to get into contention. He caught Kuchar on No. 16, rolling in a 20-footer for birdie. Chois usual schedule had him return home to South Korea after the Masters to help take care of his three children. However, after hearing for years how Harbour Town might suit his game, he decided to play the South Carolina course. "If you just hit it beneath the trees, its a good course to play," Choi said. "It has very small targets and this course is working well." Kuchar, the worlds sixth-ranked player, probably wished the storm had arrived sooner. His tee shot found water on the par-3 fourth ..................... for a double bogey. He sent his drive out of bounds on No. 6 to drop two more shots. Kuchar opened with a steady performance -- Thursdays 66 was his lowest career round at Harbour Town -- just a few days after contending in the Masters. Hell see if he can find that game once play resumes. His bad start didnt seem to bother him much. He smiled after hitting his provisional drive on the sixth ....................., and then talked about the good time he and his family were having at Hilton Head. "Chasing my youngest around the beach, so had some fun this morning," Kuchar said. "Its going to be lots of games and some movies maybe the next couple of days." Allenby jumped into second after birdies on the first and second ........... and was glad to get out of the inclement weather. "Its not fun when its blowing 20 miles an hour every different direction and its raining at the same time," he said. "So it was nice get out of there." Donald is coming off a disheartening Masters (he shot 79-70 to miss the cut), but he generally plays well at the RBC Heritage. Hes had four top threes in his past five appearances and, with his 69, broke par for the 17th time in his last 22 rounds here. "Its a good course for me and my results have certainly showed that in the last few years," Donald said. Divots: U.S. Ryder Cup captain Tom Watson improved on his first-round showing of 75 to shoot 73 on Friday. The 6-over 148 title was still two shots more than the projected cut line. While Watson hoped to play better, he was just as happy he got a chance to see young Ryder Cup contenders like Spieth and Patrick Reed up close. "Those were my intentions this week," he said. ... Five-time RBC Heritage champion Davis Love III wont be around for the final two rounds after following a strong 1-under 70 Thursday with an 80 in the second round -- .......... highest score ever in 93 career rounds at Harbour Town. Roman Burki Dortmund Shirts . Gomes drove in all three runs, including a go-ahead two-run homer in the eighth inning, and Cleveland rallied for a 3-2 win over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday. Matthias Ginter Dortmund Jersey . Nat Borchers headed in the sole goal in the 54th minute, getting on the end of a Kyle Beckerman free kick. The alley-oop looked easy -- just like everything else after halftime for the Miami Heat. The Reds were on the wrong end of a 1-0 result at Newcastle in league play last week and followed the match with a disappointing 1-0 loss to Real Madrid in Champions League action on Tuesday. The bad times continued on Saturday as Diego Costa netted the winner at Anfield to mount some additional pressure on manager Brendan Rodgers. Saturdays affair started brightly for Liverpool as the hosts managed to break the deadlock in the early going. A well-worked move in the ninth minute allowed Emre Can to find space at the top of the penalty area and uncork a shot that took a massive deflection on its way past Thibaut Courtois. Chelsea, though, got back on level terms just five minutes later when a chaotic sequence in the box culminated with Gary Cahill sweeping a loose ball toward goal from close range. It appeared as though Simon Mignolet had done enough to deny the visitors an equalizer, but goal line technology revealed that Cahills shot had narrowly crossed the line. While the two sides traded scoring chances for the remainder of the opening period, the second half was controlled largely by Chelsea. The visitors eventually got their noses in front in the 67th minute when Cesar Azpilicueta found space on the left flank and sent a dangerous ball across the face of goal. Mignolet managed to parry the delivery but only as far as Costa, who smashed a first-time effort into the back of the net. Liverpool had a penalty shout in the 88th minute when Steve Gerrards shot was blocked by Cahills outstretched arm, but the infraction went unnoticed as Chelsea escaped with all three points in tact. The result sees the Blues continue their unbeaten start to the season as Jose Mourinhos men improve to 29 points through 11 matches. Liverpool, meanwhhile, stays put on 14 points. Emre Mor Jersey. Southampton kept pace with Chelsea at the top of the Premier League table as the Saints battled to a 2-0 victory over Leicester City at St. Marys on Saturday. The hosts were made to wait until the 75th minute for the go-ahead goal as second-half substitute Shane Long broke the deadlock with a superb curling effort. Long then doubled Southamptons advantage just five minutes later when he latched on to a ball over the top and slipped a shot into the back of the net at the near post. The Saints improve to 25 points on the season to stay four points back of Chelsea while Leicester City drops its fourth straight to remain on nine points. Manchester United dictated play at Old Trafford on Saturday but only managed to come away with a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace. The lone goal came in the 67th minute when second-half substitute Juan Mata fired a shot that took a deflection on its way past Julian Speroni at the near post. The Red Devils were content with the narrow lead and closed out the match to snap their three-game winless run and move to 16 points. Manchester City avoided an embarrassing defeat at Loftus Road on Saturday as Sergio Agueros double helped the Citizens salvage a point from a 2-2 draw with QPR. The hosts grabbed the lead through Charlie Austin in the 21st minute only to see a brilliant bit of skill from Aguero draw City level 11 minutes later. An own goal from Martin Demichelis put QPR back in front 14 minutes from time, but Aguero ensured a point for the Citizens in the 83rd by latching on to a superb long ball from Yaya Toure and curling a precise left-footed shot into the back of the net. Ashley Barnes netted the lone goal in Bunrleys 1-0 defeat of Hull City, the clubs first win of the campaign. West Ham United and Aston Villa completed Saturdays action with a 0-0 draw at Upton Park.
