NASHVILLE -- The Tennessee Titans got a very big win over the New York Jets. Willis Reed Knicks Jersey . Their celebration is muted while they wait to see if they lost their quarterback. And if they did, just for how long. Jake Locker threw a career-high three touchdowns before injuring his hip seriously enough to send him to the hospital, and the Titans finished off a 38-13 rout Sunday of the Jets for their second straight victory. Locker was hurt with 11:14 left in the third quarter when hit first by Muhammad Wilkerson after throwing an incomplete pass, then popped by Quinton Coples. He grabbed at his hip as he went to the ground and was taken from the field before being loaded into an ambulance. Titans coach Mike Munchak did not have an update or a diagnosis after the game. "When its your quarterback, it seems to hurt more," Munchak said. A person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press that Locker was spending Sunday night in the hospital. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the Titans had not updated Lockers condition. The Tennessean first reported Locker was being admitted to St. Thomas Midtown Hospital. Alterraun Verner intercepted two passes and recovered a fumble, Karl Klug sacked Smith and stripped him of the ball for a TD as the Titans turned Smiths four turnovers into 28 points. Ropati Pitoitua had two of Tennessees five sacks as the Titans (3-1) continued their surprising start. The Jets (2-2) couldnt overcome Smiths rookie mistakes, especially not after receiver Stephen Hill was knocked out of the game with a head injury on the second offensive play. Smith had one fewer turnover than Mark Sanchez did last December when the Jets lost to the Titans 14-10 in an ugly game between two teams headed to 6-10 finishes. The Jets cut their penalties in half from a week ago when they had 20, but it wasnt enough with all the turnovers. "It shocks me," Jets coach Rex Ryan said. "I never expected for the game to turn out like this. Certainly a shock. I dont know what else to say." The Jets now get to look for answers. The Titans already have half as many wins through the first month as they managed all of 2012, and they joined the 1995 St. Louis Rams as the only teams in the Super Bowl era without a turnover through the first four games. But the victory was overshadowed by Lockers injury. Wilkerson said he didnt realize Locker was hurt and that the referee told him it was a clean hit. "It was a clean hit," Wilkerson said. "If it was late the ref would have thrown a flag. They didnt throw a flag." Locker missed five games last year with a dislocated shoulder, an injury that affected him throughout the season. Fully healthy, Locker was starting to play like the franchise quarterback the Titans wanted when they drafted him No. 8 overall in 2011 out of Washington. Against the Jets, Locker completed passes to seven different receivers with TD passes to Delanie Walker, Nate Washington and rookie Justin Hunter for a 24-6 halftime lead. "It was a really big shot," Chris Johnson said of losing Locker. "We had a lot of momentum, everything going our way and just for the play to happen like that ... it just kind of sucked it all out of us." Ryan Fitzpatrick, signed in March to back up Locker, started slowly coming off the bench. But he connected with Washington on a 77-yard TD during which the receiver went up for the ball away from Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie, knocked down back judge Billy Smith as he landed and then ran to the end zone for a 38-13 lead midway through the fourth quarter. "I was brought here for a reason, and the reason I was brought here was to help Jake out and be ready for a situation like this if it came up," Fitzpatrick said. The Jets managed one TD drive in the fourth quarter as Smith threw a 34-yard pass to Jeff Cumberland. Nick Folk kicked a pair of field goals. It just wasnt enough with the Titans blitzing Smith and hitting him repeatedly. Verner stepped in front of Hill and intercepted Smiths first pass at midfield and ran it back 34 yards with safety Michael Griffin levelling Hill after the catch. Verner also recovered a fumble after Titans linebacker Zach Brown chopped the ball away from Smith, setting up Lockers second TD pass. Verner got his second interception late in the first half to set up Lockers third TD pass to Hunter. "The balls just finding me right now," Verner said. Notes: Ryan said WR Santonio Holmes hurt a hamstring, but didnt have any information about the severity. ... Washington went over 5,000 yards receiving for his career with his 77-yard TD catch. ... Griffin and Jets safety Dawan Landry each played in their 100th career games. ... The Titans won their fourth straight at home dating to last season, their first such winning streak since five consecutive wins in 2009. ... Munchak now is 18-18 as a head coach. John Starks Knicks Jersey . Harris has played in six games since joining the Argos in 2012, completing 17-of-35 passes for 256 yards and one touchdown. Carmelo Anthony Knicks Jersey . - Houston defensive end J. http://www.nbaknicksauthority.com/bernard-king-knicks-jersey-c-16/ . The whole deflation of New England Patriots footballs is like a murder mystery without the violence or significance. On one side, this is a ridiculous issue.SAN FRANCISCO - Homer Bailey heard frequent reminders that he had a no-hit bid in progress. Not anyone on the Cincinnati bench mentioned it, however. "I wasnt really thinking about it, other than the fan just above our dugout who kept yelling at me about it," Bailey said. "That was nice of him." Bailey made a strong bid for yet another no-hitter, shutting down San Francisco until Buster Poseys two-out single in the seventh inning and pitching the Reds past the Giants 4-0 Sunday. Bailey has thrown no-hitters in each of the last two seasons, and did it against the Giants at home last July 2. He came close to pitching the latest gem at AT&T Park — the ballpark was the scene of Tim Lincecums no-hitter Wednesday against San Diego. "I had pretty good stuff, got a lot of early outs and we scored enough runs," Bailey said. "It was our lucky day, I guess." Bailey (8-4) finished with a three-hitter as the Reds completed their first four-game sweep in San Francisco since 1972 at Candlestick Park. Billy Hamilton, Brandon Phillips, Brayan Pena and Skip Schumaker drove in runs as the Reds won their season-best fifth straight and eighth in nine overall. The Giants were swept in a four-game series for the first time in their ballpark that opened in 2000. San Francisco has lost 15 of 19 while watching its lead dwindle in the NL West. "We got them at the right time," Schumaker said. "Its still a playoff team, in my opinion. They are too good of a team. Im just happy to get out of here while they were struggling a little bit." Bailey walked one and struck out seven in his fourth career shutout and sixth complete game. Bailey walked Gregor Blanco leading off the fourth, but later caught him taking off early for third base and threw him out. That was all the Giants got into Posey singled cleanly to right-centre field. Pablo Sandovals bloop single moved Posey to third, but Bailey struck out Michael Morse looking to end the inning. "We ran into four starters as dominant as four starters Ive ever seen before," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said. "They caught everything we hit. They are as .... as any team, and as cold as we are, its what we have to deal with. New York Knicks T-shirts. " Bailey was trying to become just the sixth pitcher with at least three career no-hitters. Nolan Ryan leads that list with seven. "He pitched efficiently and we played great defence," Reds manager Bryan Price said. "When the outs are coming so early in the count, he has a chance." Tim Hudson (7-5) allowed two runs on five hits. He did not walk a batter and struck out six. Hes lost his last two starts at home after opening the season with seven straight wins. "My delivery felt a lot better and my timing was good," Hudson said. "They had one or two opportunities to score and they took advantage. I felt like I made a pretty good pitch on Hamilton. Every little run counts in a game like this." Hamiltons two-out double in the third drove in the Reds first run, and with the way Hudson was pitching — he retired 12 of 13 following the double — Bailey needed to be nearly perfect. The Reds tacked on three runs in the ninth against Jeremy Affledt, who took over for Hudson after Todd Frazier started the frame with a single. Affledt balked, hit a batter, threw a wild pitch, allowed three hits and an inherited runner to score and got his only out on Phillips sacrifice fly. NOTES: Bochy announced before the game he would be going with a closer-by-committee for the time being, with RHP Sergio Romo in the mix. "I think its time to tweak it a little bit, get guys on track," Bochy said. ... Giants 1B Brandon Belt (thumb) could rejoin the team Friday in San Diego, but not likely before then. ... Lincecum (6-5, 4.42) makes his first start since throwing his second career no-hitter. Hell face the Cardinals and Marco Gonzales (0-0, 9.00) on Tuesday night. ... Mat Latos (1-0, 2.89) will start Monday nights game in San Diego for the Reds. ... The Reds have won their last five series and are 6-0-1 in their past seven. ... Hamiltons 16th double gives him the lead among NL rookies, breaking a tie with Arizonas Chris Owings, who is on the DL. ... The other pitchers with three or more no-hitters: Sandy Koufax with four and Cy Young, Bob Feller and 1880s pitcher Larry Corcoran with three.
