ATLANTIC CITY, N. Tampa Bay Rays Jerseys .J. -- Rampage Jackson scowled, howled, then bellowed to the crowd: "Im back! Im back!" With rebuilt knees and a new promotion, Jackson might have one more act left in MMA. Jacksons Bellator debut ended in a hurry when the former UFC star dropped Joey Beltran with a second left in the first round to win by knockout Friday night. "Its only the beginning," Jackson said. "Theres a lot more stuff coming." In his first fight outside the UFC banner since 2006, Jackson connected on a series of left hooks to send Beltran to the mat. Jackson finished him off at the 4:59 mark, then threw back his head for his signature howl. The arena darkened as Jackson made his way to the cage with a scowl. He was mobbed by fans on his way to the cage, then grabbed the microphone after the short bout to proclaim he was back to an appreciative crowd at Revel Resort casinos Ovation Hall. Jackson won his first MMA fight since he beat Matt Hamill by unanimous decision on May 28, 2011, at UFC 130. Unwanted by UFC after three straight losses, Jacksons debut was his first fight in 10 months. He blamed his decline on bad knees that slowed him down. Jackson thanked his doctors for the various procedures on his knees over the last year. "Fans keep thinking Im making excuses, but now its on," he said. "I have a lot more years left in me." He used a series of hooks to put Beltran on all fours. One or two punches more to the face ended the bout. "I proved I still got it," Jackson said. "If I train hard, I can deliver." Jackson hurt his right knee training for a 2010 fight against Rashad Evans and hurt his left knee in a 2011 bout against Jon Jones. "I havent enjoyed training for years because I was in so much pain," he said. He hadnt been the same since -- until a left hook made it a buzzer beater to remember. Jackson had a series of platelet-rich plasma treatments designed to stimulate recovery in aging joints to aid his recovery. Jackson was originally slated to fight former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz on pay-per-view. Ortiz backed out because of a neck injury, forcing Jackson to fight Beltran (14-10). Jackson said this week he has no intention of fighting Ortiz. "Ive moved on from that," he said. "Much love to Tito, Ive got mad love for him, but that was a big letdown." Beltran, another former UFC fighter, lost a three-round split decision on UFC Fight Night on Oct. 9. "I would love to fight Rampage again," Beltran said. "Well do it a catchweight, at heavyweight, I dont care." In 2007, Jackson unified the UFC and Pride 205-pound titles with a unanimous decision over Dan Henderson. In his next UFC fight, he lost his crown to Forrest Griffin. He also served as a coach on "The Ultimate Fighter." Outside the cage, Jackson is most known for playing B.A. Baracus in the film version of "The A-Team," The 35-year-old Jackson also made his professional wrestling debut of the sports entertainment kind this year, making appearances for TNA Wrestling. Jackson scattered his appearances over three months before he left in September to focus on the fight. He said his dream was to become a professional wrestler and wanted to return to TNA at some point. In the other featured bout, Vitaly Minakov stopped fellow Russian Alexander Volkov at 2:57 of the first round to win the heavyweight championship. Minakov landed repeated strikes to Volkovs face before the referee stepped in and stopped the bout. His first defence will come against former UFC heavyweight Cheick Kongo. Kevin Kiermaier Jersey . Brooks has made one relief appearance for the Royals this season, allowing six runs in two innings in a May 3 loss to Detroit. The Toronto Blue Jays go after their 10th straight win tonight when they kick off a four-game series versus the Kansas City Royals. Toronto has relied on the home run for the better part of its winning streak, but on Wednesday found a new way to win, as Anthony Goses ninth-inning bunt proved to be the game-winner as the Blue Jays defeated the Tampa Bay Rays, 3-2, to complete the series sweep. Dioner Navarro led off the bottom of the ninth with a single to right and was replaced by pinch-runner Kevin Pillar. Gose then laid down a bunt toward the first-base line. Pitcher Juan Carlos Oviedo (1-1) picked up the ball and whipped it wide right of first baseman James Loney. Pillar hustled from first and dove headfirst at home plate to elude the tag of catcher Roman Solis as the Blue Jays notched their third straight series sweep. "Its a pretty exciting win all around for the team," said Gose. Edwin Encarnacion drove in two runs and Jose Reyes supplied three hits for Toronto while Aaron Loup (2-1) earned the win after pitching a scoreless top of the ninth. Starter Liam Hendriks gave up two runs on three hits with five strikeouts in six innings of work. The Blue Jays, who won 11 games in a row last June, have won 14 of their past 16 games and 19 of 24 overall. They are also just one win shy of the franchise mark for a single month, which was set at 21 in May 2003. Toronto may stay in the win column on Thurssday, as it hands the ball to former National League Cy Young Award winner R. Joe Maddon Jersey. . Dickey, who had his best outing of the season on Saturday. Dickey won for the fourth time in his last five decisions, as he beat Oakland, holding the As to a pair of runs and five hits in 8 1/3 innings. He is now 5-4 on the year with a 3.95 ERA. Dickey has faced the Royals 12 times (6 starts) and is 3-3 against them with a 4.33 ERA. Kansas City, meanwhile, will counter with an impressive veteran of its own in righty James Shields, who is 6-3 with a 2.95 ERA. Shields has won six of his last seven decisions, but did not receive one on Saturday in Anaheim, as the Angels reached him for four runs in six innings of his teams 7-4 win. Shields is 12-6 lifetime versus the Blue Jays with a 3.09 ERA in 23 starts. Hes been dominant lately against them, though, posting a 6-1 mark over his last eight matchups with a 1.13 ERA - the lowest among pitchers with at least five starts against the Blue Jays since the start of 2011. Kansas City enters this tilt on a bit of a sour note, as it has dropped four in a row after getting swept in a three-game set by the Houston Astros. The Royals were outscored 21-5 in the series with the Astros and lost, 9-3, on Wednesday. "Right now we are not doing our job at the plate, but we will get better," said Royals outfielder Jarrod Dyson. The Royals took two of three from the Jays earlier this season.
