The struggling Edmonton Oilers look to end their five-game losing streak when they host the Phoenix Coyotes tonight at Rexall Place. B.J. Upton Jersey . The Oilers come in having lost five in a row (0-4-1) and 16 of their last 20 games, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday. Jordan Eberle scored a goal in his third straight game and Ben Scrivens made 25 stops in his home debut after being recently acquired from the Los Angeles Kings. "We were right there even with them," Edmonton head coach Dallas Eakins said of his teams late charge. "I thought the game started to tilt our way in the third period." Eberles goal-scoring streak has pushed his season total to 17 to go along with 23 assists in 51 games. He ranks third on the club in goals scored, behind only David Perron and Taylor Hall, who both have netted 18. Eberle is also second to only Halls 47 points on Edmonton. Eakins is expected to give Ilya Bryzgalov the start tonight and he is 9-2-1 with a 2.05 GAA in 13 starts against his former club, but did yield four goals on 45 shot faced in the previous meeting on Dec. 31. The Coyotes are 0-3-2 in their last five games as the guest, opening a three- game swing with Wednesdays 3-2 setback to the Calgary Flames, failing to extend their opponents franchise-worst seven-game slide at home. They look to snap a five-game road losing streak. Antoine Vermette scored his second short-handed goal in as many games and Shane Doan had a third-period goal to again get Phoenix to within one, but the club lost its second straight game and sixth in its past eight. Mike Smith turned aside 23-of-26 shots in defeat, which saw the Coyotes fail to score a power-play goal for the first time in nine games. "We have to just keep pounding away," Phoenix coach Dave Tippett said. "Weve got a lot of guys who are playing hard. We just have to turn it into results." The Coyotes have won all three of their previous meetings with the Oilers this season and have won four straight and nine of the last 11 encounters overall. They have also claimed two in a row and seven of their last eight in Edmonton. Smith is 7-1-1 with a 2.54 goals against average in his career versus the Oilers, starting all three meetings this season. He won the first two, but was lifted after 27 minutes of work in a 4-3 overtime win at home on Dec. 31. Smith yielded three goals on 10 shots, while Thomas Greiss stopped all 15 shots he faced in relief to get the win. Custom San Diego Padres Jersey . The team let Keaton Ellerby, James Wright and Matt Halischuk become unrestricted free agents after declining to make them qualifying offers. Ellerby, 25, appeared in 51 games for the Jets last season and had two goals and four assists. Yangervis Solarte Jersey . The game was the first of two international friendlies that Canada is playing during the international break, with the second game against Slovenia set for Tuesday in Celje. Canada looked uncomfortable defensively throughout the game, and every free kick that came into Canadas penalty box looked like ending up in the back of the net. http://www.mlbpadresstore.com/authentic-randy-jones-padres-jersey/ .C. -- Ryan Sproul scored the winner late in double overtime to lift the Grand Rapids Griffins to a 2-1 win over the Abbotsford Heat on Friday in Game 1 of their American Hockey League playoff series.SPA, Belgium -- Lewis Hamilton posted the fastest time in the second practice of the Belgian Grand Prix on Friday, finishing ahead of Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg as their positions from the morning session were reversed. Conditions were cool and overcast for both runs, although the rain stayed away on the 7-kilometre (4.3-mile) Spa track -- the longest on the calendar. Times were faster in the afternoon, with Hamilton completing 26 laps and clocking a best lap of 1 minute, 49.189 seconds -- more than half a second faster than Rosberg, who stayed out for two laps longer. The F1 championship resumed this weekend following a summer break, with Rosberg leading Hamilton by just 11 points. The Briton leads Rosberg 5-4 in race wins this season, but has retired from two races. Two-time F1 champion Fernando Alonso was third quickest both times in his Ferrari. Four-time defending champion Sebastian Vettel sat out the second session because of a power unit failure due to an electrical probllem in the morning, where he finished nearly two seconds behind Rosberg in 11th. Yellow Rollie Fingers Jersey. The red flag came up twice in the afternoon session. Venezuelan driver Pastor Maldonado lost control of his Lotus and Mexican Esteban Gutierrez stalled his Sauber. Vettel, who finished second in qualifying at the Hungarian GP last month, could not even get his Red Bull out of the garage. It has been a miserable season so far for the German driver, with only two podium finishes and no pole positions. He has retired from three races and is down in sixth place overall. Quite a contrast to last year, when his victory in Spa was the first of nine straight wins. But this campaign has seen him lag behind teammate Daniel Ricciardo, who has won two races since switching from Toro Rosso in the off-season and is third in the standings -- although he trails Hamilton by 60 points. Rosberg clocked 1:51.577 seconds in the morning and Hamilton, the 2008 champion, managed a best of 1:51.674. NFL Jerseys China ' ' '
